In 2003, some 450 families from the Lower Hood Canal came to the food bank for assistance. The 1,250 family members, including more than 450 children, received 7,100 weekly family portions during 2003 totaling over 80 tons.
Our Mission
The basic mission of the Hood Canal Food Bank is to reduce hunger in northwest Mason County by operating a food bank for needy families in the Lower Hood Canal area. (details)
